adding oil to my fuel
I have Sidewinder Pro race fuel with 16% nitro and 10% oil.
I want to add some oil.
Can some one tell what alternative synthetic oil to use?
Can I use motorcycle or car oil because nearest hobby shop is 300km away?

RE: adding oil to my fuel
Don't use motorcycle or car oil![X(] It would ruin your engine in no time at all. Is that the only fuel you can buy around your area? If not just buy some fuel with a higher oil content. But if you really want to add oil to your fuel then use some of this.

RE: adding oil to my fuel
It's not the right mix of oil. Yes it is sold in motocyle shops as an additive. It's not the same as 2 stroke oil you normally use when mixing your fuel.

RE: adding oil to my fuel
I use Klotz oil in the pre-mix for my quads. It's a great 2-stroke oil. I don't see why adding a couple drops of any 2-stroke oil to your Nitro would hurt anything, after all they are all 2-stroke engines. I've heard of people adding a couple drops of Marvel Mystery Oil to their Nitro with success.
