It's a monster truck. Not for the faint of wallet.

I saw the 2 speed trucks running at the last round of the east division pro series race and they either need to work on shift points or gear ratios.

Its tottaly adjustable, the sprurs can be changed as can the pinions, individually at that to change the split between gears.

I like the looks of it, but i dont like those VBS. I dont know what kind of replacement policy they have, but i would not want to replace the whole unit if i broke part of that shock tower off. I think i would take any of todays truggies over that thing for racing. But thats just me.

If you can break it and it was not from a car crusher of a vice, Robin will replace it. The VBS is about the best thing to ever hit the maxx.

FHM, as far as I know, the gears are not from Ofna, I read it in his thread over on the UE forums.

Whats "T maxx" about it ???, after all the work he put into the design it is an insult to group it with or as a T maxx

VERY NEAT!!!, there are a few points that I don't like (like two speeds) but it looks good, the thing that would scare me is what is it going to cost???

He's going to offer a "Sportsman" model with WideTrack, single speed/no center diff, etc.

Robin released a rough estimate of $2,250, list price, not including R&D, his time, etc. I'm guessing it's going to be around $2,500 street.

$2500 is an insane price but worth every penny I'm sure!!!! Just think...If you could save up for the truck you'd still have to get all the radio gear, the engine, pipe, and the wheels!! I wish I had that kind of money to spend!!! would love to see this thing in action!

Yeah. It is insane, but realistic. People who have SuperMaxxes right now have spent about that much, but they buy parts over a period of time. Seeing it all at once just looks crazy.
