RE: OFNA MONSTER PIRATE
Do a search for "Dominator"
You’ll find more
1-Durable - yes very
2- H21 plenty of power, very fast. I've had 3
3- The only real nagging issues are the weaker than normal diff gears, the will wear out faster than the 1/8th scale types,
4- Dominator and Pirate are basically the same with the exception the Dom has a slipper on the center tranny

RE: OFNA MONSTER PIRATE
Not only for racing, I take moine with me to the desert when we go camping, but mostly I race not bash
Points I like
Low Center of gravity
Can use starter box
Easier to work on
Simpler more reliable drive train
use the 17mm hub Dom wheels that are very strong
Easy simple access to servo linkage
And BTW lax195
If you get one get a set of these wheel extenders

they'll help alot, I'm using them on my H7 truggy and really like them so far

RE: OFNA MONSTER PIRATE
Out of all the trucks I have owned over the years, I still got my dominator. Quake, maxx, savage, mad force, mugen truggy, etc. Can't say much about the other's. My dom. has a C4 and 2 speeds and it's a blast. Never breaks anything. I do have a ton of hop-ups on it but what truck doesn't need them. They all need something. The main reason I like my Dom. is it's easy to work. I mean super easy. I was always breaking something on the maxx and the savage but both were the older models. The mad force wasn't as fast I thought it would be even with a 8 port. The quake, well, it's a quake. I am selling the mugen on ebay right now and it has a wasp .26 and is a super nice truck. But I need to sell something so I can get tires/rims for my real monster, 1990 k1500 stepside.

RE: OFNA MONSTER PIRATE
I just got the most recent issue of DRIVER rc mag, and the new ofna pirate truggie was reviewed in there. It comes with 2 sets of wheels, a .26 force a failsafe etc. It got a very good review
