Attention CEN GENESIS 46 owners:

If you have purchased your CEN GENESIS 46 prior to (07-15-04), you are entitled to receive a care package that includes new and improved parts from CEN Racing, Free of Charge.

PLEASE NOTE: This applies for the first batch of GENESIS 46 Trucks only. Future trucks have all upgraded parts already installed.

Simply follow the steps below to receive your free care package that has new and improved parts for the CEN GENESIS 46.

1. Locate your receipt dated prior to (07-15-04).
2. Mail your receipt (copy or original) with your orange failsafe included with the truck with the word safeguard on it. Send it Attention: “CEN CARE PACK� (Address Listed below)
3. Make sure to include your ship to address
4. Please note that only one care package will be issued per truck. This will be strongly enforced.

This care package will be available and ready to ship out approximately (07-25-04) and are entitled for the U.S. version of GENESIS 46 only.

Care packages include the following new and improved items.

1. Steel Spur Gears
2. Shims kit
3. 5kg Metal BB throttle Servo
4. 5kg Metal BB forward Reverse Servo
5. 45cm Antenna tube
6. CEN failsafe type A
7. Diff Gears sets x3
8. Improved 3rd speed shift shoes

No its not cheap but as i posted if i said if you can get ahold of someone.The only reason i claim if you can get ahold of them is they are very busy and if you leave a message it will take a long time to get back to you.(understandable they got a business to run). I am also curious as to see what happens with the care packageI think some of the emotions will subside if the package is as good as is needs to be.The issue with motors i hope is rare case.They claim it is so im taking there word and my 60 day extended warranty.The final comment i have relates to some other comments about parts breaking because of customers fault.Im sure this was the case in some areas and yes Cen replaced the parts but in my case i checked all the screws and when a failsafe fails(They admit it had issues)then whatever breaks isnt customers fault.Thanks for all the posts folks i enjoy reading the replies.

At least they will admit problems unlike Traxxas. Losi is even admitting problems.

what do you mean that traxxas wont admit to their problems? they admited the problem with debris in the fuel tank, then they told the costumers how to fix it. other then that they dont really have any other problems with the Revo to admit too, unlike with the numerous problems that Losi has to sort out.

Omg im tired of you, your so biased! All you do is go to threads about other trucks and talk about your little traxxas products! Its not even just this thread i am talking about, this is atleast the 4th time this weak.

What problems? They fixed the weak step ladders, replaced them with beefier ones. There looking into there weak axle problem too.

This is a Genisis thread if we start talking about other companies it will only lead to some serious bashing. We all have our favorites but lets stick to the Genesis in here!!!!!

I think the care package is great, but its not great customer service Cen sent out thousands of trucks that were not up to the specs they promised the customers. They even changed out some of the servos for cheaper ones. They had no choice but to send out these packages or they would have been up against a class action law suite!!!!!!!!!!!! Fortunately the guys in these forums check their RC for the the equipment they are promised. In this day and time good service starts with a well detailed web site. Some of the questions and quick fixes you may need can be handled right there. I remember one guy posted where are all the ---- owners. They were on the------- web site. There was really not as much need to post here they had everything they needed on the company site!!!!!!!

I didnt name the truck or company because I was following my own advise!!!!!!!!!!!!

to be quite honest this is the only forum where ppl are complaining about the Genesis. The only complaint I've seen elsewhere is the brake servo.

Im sure Cen isnt sending out a care package for the entire first batch of trucks because 20 guys complained on RCU. They are getting a crap load of complaints!!!!!!

So are you implying CEN is not going to send these packages out to the customers they promised them too? They aren't send packages because everyone complained they are sending them out because they acknowledged mistakes were made and are taking responsibility for it. Some or we could learn a lesson from them. Believe me these guys aren't concerned about any lawsuit any pre-paid attorney could file against them. They are simply doing the right thing.
