Thats what happened to my 2.5's carb so I ditched the 2.5 and got another engine
. All after I tryed fixing it with jb weld, superglue, and alot of other stuff I can't remember right now. And guess what, none worked

my third carb cracked in that exact same spot. i think it was from a combination of bad landings. just get the OS 10D carb and your problems will be over. it turns the 2.5 into a whole new engine that will do things it never did before.
