RE: Which monster truck?
Then upgrade your steering servos, it's a lot cheaper than buying a completely new truck in any case. Besides, the Mammoth is meant for racing, if you already have one, may as well make us of it.

RE: Which monster truck?
Nah, I think I would like to get another truck because I'm not too satysfied with my Mammoth. So no more about my Mammoth, its history. I'm really looking into the Traxxas Revo though!

are you new to the hobby? there are adjustments to make the mammoth turn on a dime just like any other truck out there. try to adjust your camber, and toe in a bit in the front, night and day.

RE: Which monster truck?
GS Storm SUT... coz you said you wanted to race... Truggies will eat any standard MT design in a race by virtue of it having buggy roots. Bashing... that's another story.

RE: Which monster truck?
Yeah, a truggy like the GS SUT will take a standard designed monster truck on the track easily. With a few well thought out mods the only exception might be a Mammoth, or possibly a Revo with a .18. The mammoth is a superb basher but also well suited for racing, I'm not sure why you want to get rid of it. If that were on the ballot i'd have voted for it.

HI, if you want a high level of performance, stay with a "flat pan" chassis vehicle, stay with big block .21+ size power, maybe look at the new ofna blazer.

RE: Which monster truck?
The bottom line is if you want a "perf racer kit", you got to STAY AWAY from the Revo... you will NOT be able to prove ANYTHING with that little .15 size engine. To me these revo kits remind me of kids in Honda civics (with big mufflers) that would pull up beside me in my 450HP machI mustang looking as if they had the hot car lol
Most of todays .21+ size big block engines are FAR SUPERIOUR to ANY .15 size engine in power/grunt and over all performance. .21+ size engines are generly also easyer to tune and hold a tune better, overall .21+ size engines are just less finicky to tune also.

RE: Which monster truck?
A poorly tuned .21 will produce the same power as a perfectly tuned .15, if not more. Not to mention a considerable amount of people have been having troubles with the 2.5 engine.

RE: Which monster truck?
big block trucks and small block trucks dont race together anyways. the revo still magages a win or two and always finish on the podium and theres more wins to come. and its not like your limited to just the trx2.5, you can always put in an .18 or even a big block with new era's conversion kit. and a big block revo would probably be able keep up with truggies and blow away all the true big block monster trucks.

RE: Which monster truck?
so what truck do you think I should get. Do you think the ofna Balzer would be a good choice. I realy like the revo, i could just stay with the 2.5, im not gonna be doing any serius racing if u know what i mean.
