What I am looking for is something that is easy to tune and hold a tune (I do know with temp changes all engines have to be retuned).

While the stock engine seems not bad, are there any engines that might be better?

I do not want more power (really, the stock power is plenty). I have enough problems with broken pins as it is.

I've heard great things said about OS engines. If they are the best running, is there one that would drop into this truck?

This is just a 'play' truck, so my main concern smooth idle etc.
