PAKFAN,

I've been out there once just to check it out, and it looks like a rather small track, but maybe its just me. I've been told they run a lot of very fast electric stadium trucks out there and they kick the rear ends off of the nitro stadium trucks. A lot of Losi lovers out there. I've also been told that the guy who owns the hobby shop in Vandergrift PA plans to put a track in down towards Leechburg, but I have not been to his shop this year, so i don't even know if he is still in business

I broke in my Force .26 motor today. Six tanks run through it and my Blazer idles great, has good snappy torque and revs out well(I haven't tuned it fully yet). It rips holding 190-200 degrees temp. Nice and smoky.
I broke it in inside a huge warehouse and it drifts (slides) awesome.
I(so far) have shown that the Force .26 has potential to all the nay sayers. Its all in the break-in and tuning...duh
I think it should be fun in the dirt-So far I love my Blazer SST!
I dare to be different.

Can you give us some dimensions please, I am really interested on the width with the widest tyres on, it seems rather narrow like the rest of the OFNA range.

No, it came with the blue body at the top of the page. Width w/st wheels is 13 1/4", w/mt wheels its 16 1/4".
That body is very wide to start with(9.5"), looks large overall in person. Plus the Violator chassis(susp arms) is wider too(330mm). After a quart of break-in this truck is rippin'.

Not to try to persuade you Binary, but how much more do you want in a truggy? Three diffs, low clutch bell, lower gearing in the diffs, wider suspension arms, threaded aluminum shocks w/dirt boots, two sets of tires, all in a pretty light package. You could knock the Force .26 I suppose, but mine runs great. Or you could knock the body, but how long do you stick with that?
Like you say maybe on a Hyper chassis. I do see some Ofna option possibilities also.
I haven't got it to a track yet lol, but I hope it just handles easier than my P2 Maxx(just the comparison I have to go with). No doubt, its not for everybody. I'll try to keep up with the success/failures I have with it...
Sorry, I guess I just like it right now!

Looks nice man - Drrroooooooooooolllll................

When I saw it in RC Driver and all the accessories it comes with. I thought it was an unbelievable deal. I would like to eventually get one myself. First I have other RC's and stuff I want.

I finally got my SST on the track! Four Seasons indoor track in Olympia, Wa. Impressive first day overall at the track. My SST is a solid truggy, with the motor being just plain stupid easy(Force .26). I can't understand why people have a problem with this motor. Great idle, excellent torque and revs out decent. And runs cool(225 max). I may have to reconsider a top end S7II and go for a low end S5.
The handling is good too. Stock diff lube & stock clutch.
The clutch held up and snapped me out of the corner to clear the doubles easily(easier to over jump it lol). The front wheels pulled me out of corners straight, and the brakes, while a little weak(haven't touched the adjustment yet), kept me from spinning out entering turns. I know there is plenty of brake adjustment.
Jumping? Very good. Jumped level or nose high & a tap of the brakes leveled it right out. Nosed dived a couple of times lol.
And thats what ended my day. Cleared the doubles with the nose down right into a pipe. OUCH!
Snapped the left cast alu. KP right in half.
I'm not a fan of cast aluminum, but it was a hard hit and it could of happened to any rc.
I will have TWO extra sets in the future for back-up.
One other minus is that the ST wheels chrome blows off with a air commpressor!! A glitter explosion LOL!!
My pipe stayed on after I flared the end...
I will put a stronger steering servo in and I need to set it up with my fm radio-it deserves more adjustments.

Other than that I put MORE LAPS IN, MORE CONSISTENTLY than any other 1/8 scale there(for a quart anyways lol).
I like my SST.
