Hi,
Well yes the bigger the tyre and the heavier the tyre the more of a affect it will have on handeling and speed. I would have thought you would be best off with gig joes they are very light for a big tyre and the rims are proven to last and i do have a set on my MGT.
All the best

I like my swamp dawgs. I cut the little blocks out and lightened them up a little. my MT2 still runs good w/ them and the RPM Titans on it. I didn't notice much difference, except that they hook up MUCH better than the stock tires and they will help it go over almost anything. They are the best IMHO.

Imex tires-the jumbo size imo are too heavy and didn't have good side grip(claw dogs).
The Big Joes seem lighter(haven't weighed either) and with a slight gear down on my T Maxx hooked up really well(2.5 motor). Another cool thing a friend of mine noticed is that they don't balloon up either.
The Imex Trail Dog tread is kinda similar, and a tire I'd like to try. I geared down four teeth on my spur to keep the r's up. If ya can do that I'd go for it(for bash, not race).
I think they would look killer on your TNX.
