It does not really have any ground breaking features. It just improves an all features we have seen before. All aluminum shock bodies and caps, bigger .27 Sirio engine, metal gears,1/7th scale,Tuned “427 Monster Horsepower™†engine, 4.27cc, .256ci
Tuned exhaust system , Oversized fuel tank for longer run times 8 shock fully independent front and rear suspension engineered for maxi-mum travel and cornering speeds 2 Speed transmission with reverse ,Adjustable shift point to track tune your horsepower
Metal gears in transmissions handle tons of power easily
Dual plate design makes a super stiff and strong chassis
Oversized wheel hubs keep rims from stripping
Hi-torque servos etc...

is it just me or does that gas tank look like it'll have issues with fuel sloshing around? Espescially when it gets low on fuel.

survey:
Think its gonna have problems like the lst; put down a 1
think its gonna be sucessful, put down a 2
you gonna buy it: 3
think its a POS: 4

so your reply should be like this
i think, 1,2,3

meaning you chose those. say as many as you want

Nice pics! Do us a favor though. The specs say OVERSIZE wheel hubs. Could you define oversize? If they arent 14, then what size are they? Maybe a 17 mm?? If you plan on running it, take note of the steering radius for me. Id like to know how tight it will turn. It looks good though. Real good. I dig the name and graphics on the body too.

RC Car Action says 19mm...and those wheels and tires are straight from the DuraTrax Dirt Demon...no change and those were 19mm too.

everything looks very well built. i like how batts and rx is accesable by just removing clips! . tank also removes by clips. tranny looks like it can be removed with only 4 screws!very clever trinity. i would have to say that so far this looks to be the best designed monster truck so far. 2nd would be mgt. Ill know more after drive.

LOL It's kinda small...my Mammoth is much longer than a REVO, yet this Spyder looks more like just slightly bigger than your Revo.

Ummm...Ok, well that pretty much sucks. Thanks for the info though BT. Who else makes MT wheels in 19 mm?? If they were 17 you could use dominator wheels right?

yes dominator wheels are 17mm.

bt: did you call it a duratrax dirt demon???

i must say that engine head is way too small.

Wanna guess...just Cen and their Genesis! I do know Kyosho used 19mm on the Inferno 6 or so and I think you might be able to use the 17mm hexes like I do...I'll show you Sunday.

Just Ran the 1st tank of gas. She started right up and never quit running on the 1st tank. What an engine! This sirio is very easy to start. Brakes are very strong and will flip truck on its lid if you brake too hard. Steering servos is weaker than expected but good for a stocker. I was running a 5 cell battery. It could have needed a charge . Ill post more on sunday. Steering radius is tighter than MGT, Losi LST. Engine is still running rich , but you can feel the power. I think this is one of the best stock egines in a RTR truck ive seen. Head on engine can be improved vastly with a larger machined head. Should lower temps by 15- 20 degrees minimum. This will be the 1st upgrade...

see pictures on my website....

Ran 2nd Tank of gas. Be carefull with brakes . Brakes are so strong i flipper her on its lid and scratched head a bit. No biggie , gotta dial out some brake. Was starting to run too rich as rengine was breaking in. Leaned her out 1/8 th turn to keep her running. Brakes seem to get stronger with use. (like a real car) Car tracks tru and straight and is very planted and solid feel to it.

Welcome to my new fav truck.

PS ...What an engine i can feel the power at only 1/4 throttle.

Will Post more sunday

Did i read that right? You claim that truck steers tighter than an LST? I'd have to see that in person to believe it. I also noticed you keep referring to that engine as a Sirio? Why is that? There is no way that engine is of the same caliber as the Sirio .27 line of engines. Any video?
