Default Servo noise poor perfomance, Help?

Hi! I just received my MGT (used) and the steering servo makes a noise when I turn on the battery switch.
Batteries are new, but the wheels are moving very slow.
Are this signals of a bad servo or is something that I can change to fix it (better batteries, etc).
The seller told me that there was no problems with the truck at all just a cracked front bumper.
The engine started with no problems but was very slow (but that I think is my servo setting and the motor needs to be carburated).

As you see, I'm new to the hobby. Thaks all for your help!

Well,
What servo is it?
If it's a digital servo a little buzz or humm is normanl
But if it's an anolog servo and humming under zero load,, you have issues

Thanks for that! Batteries are new, but I will try some good rechargeable ones.

I couden't find if the stock servos for the MGT are digital or analog. The Brand is Tunder Tiger.
If somebody know better. Thanks!

I found the servo . Some body knows if this is digital or analogical. It's humming under zero load.

Acoording seems like humming is ok for digital but it is a problem if you have that noice on a analogical. Nowing that I will buy a new one or not.

If the batteries are good that doesn't sound good as far as that servo goes
that kinda sucks if he sold you a truck with a bad servo
makes you wonder what else in his discription is untrue
good luck

A decent discount replacement servo would be a hitec 645,, a good sevo for the price

Good luck

Remove the horn on the steering servo and then see if it is making a humming noise. If not then something is stopping the servo from centering or reaching position requested. check the pillowballs for being too tight or other bind in steering. The stock servo saver can do this if wheels are on ground as it loads the servo from being weak.

take the servo saver off, or the little control arm that connects to the servo, turn the radio on, see if it does the same buzing noise, if it does then just set the trimm on your radio to 0 and see if it still hummss, if it does then tap the steering, if it stilll does it try turing the radio off, hoped it help, if it still continues to do that then i was just go ahhead and by a high torqe servo from futaba, since you got big wheels in the front a regular servo would have to much load

Thanks guys for all your help!!!! I printed what you guys told me and used as a list.

I took the little control arm that connects to the servo off
And the servo still makes a electronic noise it is not the regular buzzing noise.

When I set the trim on the radio to 0 or move the servo the noise stops, but after that with no reason the noise is back

I tried the truck today and the steering servo is doing is job fine. It's just the noise.

If any body know some electronic trick. I will try that before I buy a new one. Thanks!
