There is a clear plastic film over the body to protect the outside from over spray. after you paint but before you put the decals on, you can remove it. after you trim it, you will see around the edge where it is starting to come up. it just peals off. I did it last night with my el camino

It's a super thin sheet of clear sticker that goes over the entire body on the outside. It's hard to tell that it's there because you really can't see it (it's clear). Before you put any decals on, you need to remove this. Take an exacto knife and try to peel it off at the corner of the wheel well.

Once you get just a piece of it up, it'll be alot easier to peel it off. Use the force, Luke.
