Sweet exhaust setup... *Pics*
Ok guys, I had an idea to keep gunk off the chassis... Tell me what you think...
My personal guess is that it will keep gunk off the chassis, But it might screw with my engine's tuning. The tubing itself is a fairly big diameter to minimize the affect but I just don't know. Here it is...

Please give me your honest opinions on how you think this will affect performance. Thanks a lot.
Note : All those zipties are to prevent kinking of the tubing in the bends.

if i may ask, how come you didnt just run the tube straight down towards the ground? it still looks good thought dont get me wrong. also if you have any tuning issues you could always try a larger diameter tubing.

I'm not sure but that will most likely restrict the exhaust performance... Why don't you just use exhaust deflectors which are available at all hobby stores in just about any color.. I use them on my cen MT2 and t-maxx and they work great. They also make the engine slightly quieter.

Well the truck comes with a deflector stock, but it didnt look like it would do too much. The reason i didnt make it go straight down is because I would need to run the tubing pretty long and it would probably get caught up on soemthing while bashing. The set up in the picture is very un-obtrusive and will stay out of the way and also direct smoke under and out behind the truck instead of just under the truck like a "straight down" setup would. Thanks for the comments. Any other opinions would be appreciated!
