thats kinda normal with HPI, loosen up any other screws that hold it in, make the object your screwing in movable, then start the screw at an angle and then straighten it out from there

Hehe, its better to take your time than to rush through it and totally screw something up . Mine took me a good 4 1/2-5 1/2 hours non stop. Wow, did I have a headache after that.

the engineless version to me sounds like a bad deal, 249 and you dont even get the muffler. wait until christmas on ultimate hobbies you can prolly get the ss w/engine for 249.. now thats a deal

i just got a savage SS, dont get to assemble till christmas tho, lucky tho i got time to gather hop-ups. im getting a stainless steel screw set from RCscrewz and some nice craftsman T hex tools (if you dont kno what they are, its a long allen wrench with a handle on top, and it looks like a T) so that should give me some faster wrenching time.

Thats cool man building a kit yourself was alway one thing i loved about the way the cars were back in the old days, I wish to hell they would offer more of the trucks in a "kit" form. Building it and watching it come together use to be half the fun of buying it.

are ya done yet are ya done yet are ya done yet????LOL
