Whitch Monster?
Hi. I'm looking for a new rc and was wondering whitch to get. I've narrowed it down to these three but need help deciding. I want a car that is easy to do take apart and acess, I want a car for bashing, but also would like something that had a respectable turning radius and can take a track. Money isn't really an issue. Also one with quite a few upgrades and replacement parts.
Thanks!
Thanks!

RE: Whitch Moster?
Of those 3, the LST, and Revo are the easiest to work on. Of those 3, the best for tight turns is the LST, then the Revo close behind. With the size difference, you'll probably find the Revo more nimble on a track. Also remember the Savage has a cheap steering kit coming out. It will definitely make it steer better. Of those 3, the most durable would be the Revo, Savage, then the LST. I gave the Revo the higher vote, because its drive train handles its stock power. Pretty much every savage owner has to upgrade diffs immediately. All three are excellent trucks. Until the 3 speed comes out, i'd give the LST, and the Revo the vote.

RE: Whitch Moster?
i have to say the savage due to the fact that its the most durable truck out there. also the savage prolly has the best parts support. while the revo may be better for racing, the new savage steering kit and 3 speed should make it a good contender.

Can the Savage hold a bigger engine? When will the 3-speed tranny and steering kit be coming out, and how much will they cost?

Im kind of mad that you didnt include the TNX as it is VERY worthy of being on that list, but out of those three, im gonna go with the revo or lst. If you dont have anough money to get a lst, get a revo, if you think 130 dollars is pocket change, go for the lst. Good luck!

uhhh Wheres the LST people?Lol I like the Revo though but......... THE 2.5? I have that in My Tmaxx and it's ok.. They only dressed up the 2.5r. I think it makes the same numbers as the 2.5. It's a great motor but... THERES NO REPLACEMENT FOR DISAPLACEMENT!!! - GET THE LST [8D]

lol thats funny..... BUT VERY TRUE!!! Id say get the LST or REVO, depending on cost like ScMc said. The only reason I say that is because you mentioned the track. The Savage is one tough truck.

RE: Whitch Monster?
Well, it is very hard to compare the 3 trucks with eachother.
Savage: Handles ok, everything is very strong and durable besides a 20 dollar fix to the differentials. Pretty good speed, stock engine is not the fastest in the world but it moves it around well for bashers. Not as much of a race truck as the other 2, but it is definately "raceable".
Revo: Awesome truck from what I have heard, pretty fast and nimble, keep in mind that it is a small block and smaller than the other 2, if big blocks is your thing then get the savage or the lst. Stock to stock, the revo is likely the best racer.
LST: a good trade off, big block power, great radio gear, and handles good. race worthy, but also good for bashers.
Out of the 3, I would say that the savage is the best deal for one on a budget, revo is a good price for its performance, and the lst (most expensive) is definately a great truck but not something that is affordable to everyone.
Whatever you decide to purchase, you will have fun with. It all depends what you plan to do with your truck. I would not recommend relying totally on someone else's oppinion, I think you should make a descision yourself. But you should look at specs and reviews and decide which truck will fit what you plan to do.

RE: Whitch Monster?
had a REVO for over a month
Broke: front a-arms left side WOT into a bus stop, and shock end ramping and rear tire cliped the picnic table onder the plywood.
Replaced: shock oil, engine, and rocker arms.
Factory Defects: Diffs failed, and OWB. Sent new diffs by traxxas so that problem was solved.
jumped and ran off of a drop offs between 10 and 25 feet and never had a performance problem.
IT is one tough truck and would highly recomend it.
