does changing fuel brand change needle settings
i was running red alert 20% with temps of 230-ish.
ran out of it so bought some odonnell RTR 20% fuel for my savage. temp read 305 after a few WOT runs, immediately i shut off the engine to let cool.
im thinking the changing of fuel brands caused the rise in temp...and if so then ill have to richen the settings up a tad bit.
thanks in advance.

i hate odonnel, it stinks and is only good for washing bodies!!! yeah, you have to tune it, whenever you switch to different bottle of fuel you should look to see how your car is running because some times you may ge a crappy bottle. odonnel has a lower lube level (for heavy racers), if you baught a big bottle just get a little packet of oil and and add about half of it. <<<anti-odonnel>>>

yea your have to re-tune when changing brands also the weather plays a part in tuning so it might not be the fuel that has caused the temp rises. I disagree with rcuser i think o donnel fuel is the best on the market and have had no problems with it...
