Revo's are just another track irregularity to be contended with to an LST j/k

My friends drive revos and we have hill climb contests sometimes. I won't tell you who wins all the time but I think the stock LST tires are better suited to hillclimb than the stock revo tires. Plus the LST just seems to have more low end grunt to get speed up quick for an approach.Not surprising with a .26 sized motor.Now drop a .18 or .21 in a Revo and change the treads out for something more aggresive and it will be a different contest I think .

A Revo would take an LST on a track any day. The only time the LST would have an advantage would be if the Revo tried to muscle it's way around the LST. The LST is heavier so the Revo would end up with a bruise or two. As long as the Revo stayed clear of the LST & the drivers were equal the Revo would come out in the lead.
NO DOUBT.
EDIT... Didn't notice the basher / stronger part. The Revo would have it there too. Go to the Losi forum. A lot of the threads talk about what recently broke / how hard it is to get parts / what the main design flaws are. You'd be hard pressed to find the same number of threads on the Revo & it's been out longer.
The Revo is the most well rounded truck I've ever messed with. It takes turns almost as well as it handles on straights. Acceleration is still getting better on mine. Top end is hard to judge because even that gets faster with each tank I run. It's faster than my Savage. It handles better than my Savage. I haven't totally tested the durabilty yet but from the nose dives, on heavy throttle rolls, & cartwheels I've taken it's held up way better than expected.

lst imho........good all around truck and u get great radio equip and a power house motor! plus the ease of replacing, upgrading also should be brought into play!

I've got em both fellas. The Revo is hands down WAY more reliable. I've been running both of them on my local track for quite some time now. The LST feels like it has more low end grunt, but its held back by its weight. Its hard to judge if you own ONLY one of them. When i drive them both each night at the track, its easy to see the differences. The LST honestly FEELS faster when im driving it. I really enjoy the big block. Over the jumps, the revo takes the hard to reach triples better than the heavier LST. They both steer really tight, and i like them both alot on the track. If you have big hills to climb, you might enjoy the LST more. I still swear by the Revo, and its honestly the BEST RC i've ever owned. I say you just buy them both. And when you're done buying them, buy something else.
