Why do you prefer MT's ??
This is something everyone can get in on. Don't Matter if you Electric, Nitro, or both!! Traxxas, HPI, Losi, you name it. What is your preference for owning a R/C MT. Don't go off into that "I like my brand because." Just a good healthy reason that we can all agree on. Example: I like my E-maxx cause I love seeing the looks on my buddie's faces everytime I do some insane maneuver/stunt. They are use to seeing the Toys-r-us R/C's....

I like em cause they can go almost anywhere and do almost anything. Beat the hell outta them and they'll ask for more [8D] Then go race 'em!

I agree with thermal!
My first Hobby Class r/c was a Traxxas T-maxx first-gen. Oh BOY was that thing fun! I ruined the engine quick but it was fun none-the-less!
I remember the first time I jumped it, It was over a set of 1/4(?) scale train tracks. The truck did end over end flips and landed. It was awesome and that's waht got me hooked. There is truly just something about the way a 12 pound truck flys through the air that gets you hooked. When buggys or st's jump, you dont see the suspension work like u do on Monster trucks.
So my reason for loving monster trucks is TONS of suspension travel, jumping, and just the presence and adrenaline you feel when you run nitros.

the off road ability and the fact that they do take a bit of quick responses with the radio to keep them shiny side up sometimes. Plus they just plain look more realistic and can be alot more fun/do more than just a 1/10 racing truck or on road car.

Well because if someone doesn't like them just run them over!
And well try and use a TC3 to run over anything is just not possible!

Like everyone else said, because they run great on or off-road, you can take them anywhere. Plus nothing beats the presence of a scale monster truck. For me, a true monster truck has to be four wheel drive though. It should want to be able to drive up anything, and even die trying

The ability to go anywhere is the main reason I love MT's. I live in the sticks with no place to race so I have to run where I can find a place to have fun.
