Do or dont? picco .26...92 bux
well guys quick question. I can get a picco .26 that has run through 5 liters(about 1 gallon) and has a new cylinder set in it. has extra carb, savage engine mounts(useless for me) extra heatsink and a carb-restrictor.
i wont be able to fit it into my TNX straight away, and i wasnt planning to do so either. I still wanna use the stock engine, since its pretty new and has a nice pinch. But a deal like this might not come by again. Coz i dont have to pay any shipping costs, it might be a good option. Ill just put it away, drop some afterrun oil into iot and turn the crack so nwo and then.
what do u guys think? and give a good reason why, so i can see all aspects thnx

unless you absolutely know and trust the guy 100% then assume he is talking BS, everyone always says "barely run in" or "only had 1 gallon through it" when selling their tired old engines. i personally would never buy a second hand engine unless i was 100% sure of its history and knew how well it had been looked after, after all who wants to end up with an expensive paper weight?

Simply because I dont trust people online unless I've known them for a long time. I wouldn't want a used engine anyways... It's asking for trouble IMO. Sounds like a good deal though if the engine is in good shape... Won't it suck when you have the New Era .21 conversion all set up and the engine mounted, you go to start your engine and it wont fire... Save yourself the trouble.

i decided not to go with it. Im still a beginner, and i reckon first hand stuff might be the best. I took a second hand charger for my hump pack, and now i cant charge my humppack, coz the charger wont work with it in some way. so i think im better off getting a new engine when the time is there.
and at that time, there might be even better engines so thats what im gonna do!
thanx for the advice guys.

Hi guys,
I'm the Seller he's talking about. I've sold the engine to someone else. If you asked me, I could have guaranteed the engine to work, if it didn't I would sent your money back. I'm someone who loves this Hobby and I understand that everyone who is into this Hobby loves it, and I wouldn't ruin that... Just to make clear
(When I saw the LRP .28 I HAD to have one, that's why I sold this Picco so soon....)
Greets, Robbert
