faulty servo
Hello, I have a problem with the steering servo in my truck. the probl em is it has developed a mind of its own.....well sort of!
I can move the servo left and right with no problems, the problem however does occur when I have the brake applyed (ie the throttle servo fully pressed backwards). when I have the throttle servo in this possition and i move the steering servo all the way to the left or right quickly, it returns to the middle possition abruptly (no matter what possition the transmitter dictates) and then verry slowly turns all the way to the right bofore it lets the tranmitter be back in controll. I have put other servos in its place and have experienced no problem so it is defintley the servo at fault (i cannot simply leave one of these other servos in as they are not strong enough).
Has anyone came accross this before? Is it an electrical fault? can i use the gubins of one of the good servos i have and solder them up to the stronger moto of the faulty servo?
any ideas welcome. thanx
