My Reicever not working?
My reciever works its only gets 10 feet away from me and then it stops.
Then when I get closer to my truck it works again?[sm=confused.gif][sm=confused.gif][sm=confused.gif][sm=confused.gif]

get a bigger truck and you'll have bigger range...... Just kidding... Have you checked the tx connection to the antenna wire and also the antenna in the rx... is it tight..... also, how are the batteries in the rx.... older batteries will reduce range severely...last thing to check is the crystals... if they are going bad or are bad.. range will suffer.....

yes that will affect the range, what you need to do is get this, http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...p?&I=LXERH8&P= , take your reciever apart, unsolder the old antenna, then stripp off the covering carefully on one side, an solder it carefully back on, then assemble it back together, and put it through the tube, and remember, dont cut it, NEVER, i also found helpfull that if you get a tube that is is almost the same length as the wire, so that u got like 2-3cm left sticking out, then after its in the tube, put a little but of electrical tape, or somthing like that and the tip of the wire, so that it wont get damaged
