Well stone, mt lightnings are set up 3<5<1 on diffs and 50<40 on the shocks. Other than maxx bowties and steering servo, my RR is stock. The pro however has 23 mm hexes, 40s with bowties, ths pipe, servos, and upgraded radio. Soon to have a worked over rossi .28 and maybe do the 2 speed from the big hb car, it'll work... Keep the tires slightly toes out because it'll understeer like crazy toed in and i havent really messed with camber because i dont think it'll make much of a diff how i drive (hard and drift corners) Thats how my stuff is set up... cant wait to see your stadium.. did you get the pro or RR?

chris i bought the rtr version the pro is unavaliable until mid march +I got an awesome price on it $375us ah the perks of working at a hobby shop anyone see the new thunder tiger truggy it's suppose to have extended chassis and longer a-arms?

the RR is a VERY nice truck, like the pro... swap those wheels and tires for sure tho... 40 series are great if you do the 23 mm hex swap and some good tires, servos and radio if you want and it'll be a beast... sweet gst tho.. i love it

EDIT: when you get your truck, look at the front driveshafts.. if the pins on the dogbone attached to the yolk are black, call HB and get them to send you a new pair, they'll break.. if theyre silver, dont worry about it... hell, call em anyways and get yourself a spare set but i didnt say that...

2DMaxLST!!

Here is my son burning out a tank in the LSP from about two hours ago.


All we have done to it is add the J/R radio and Airtronics steering servo with 10/30/7 diff fluids.

Finally had time to do a lil work on my RR... Put on a yellow proline wing i had laying around for my MBx5 and i have to admit.. i kinda like it.... I never was a winged truck fan, but this one makes the truck look more like a rcaer than it already does. Still waiting for the front shafts HB told me they mailed out 2 weeks ago [:@] WHERE ARE MY SHAFTS GUYS??? anyway.. took some pics of it and set the wheels up on it so youd get the look more or less... ive gotta say... looks damn good to me..

Yes, I played it later and realized I had captured that........ He was soo close to that Vette it made my skin curl!!

The thing is wicked fast.... and a tank of fuel lasts about 8minutes under those conditions.

A lot of people watching that video will not realize it has the same wheel base as a LST!!

haha thanks Stone... its not dirty cause theres no front driveshafts [:@] WHERE THEY AT HB??? anyway.. i was bored and had some down time so i decided to mount it up at least to see how it looks and well.. its not comin ofgf anytime soon... never really liked the truck wing thing, but it looks good to me and protects the body a lil more and another rear handle to carry it with so what the hell.. its gonna stay... and plus itd make my truck just that much more noticable when im racing... hopefully nobody else that has a rr racing with me has the same setup.. thatd mean some crazy racing...

haha stone, im sorry bro... so sorry i went out and took MORE pics of my RR Lookin damn good, but no racing till next weekend cause we're gonna have a new layout. I went over and there was nothing but huge piles of dirt and a flat smooth place where the offroad track was... o well, i guess i can wait a lil while... Cant wait for myorder to come in next week, gotta few things comin... 1350 worth, and i paid a lil over dealer cost Byut anyway.. stone.. tell me what youre looking for and I can see what I can do fer ya...

I think the how much thread got locked down... dont see it (arent supposed to sell stuff in the forums ) Anyway, Tower has the RR in limited quanities right now for 479. Ill PM you another one because i dont want someone to grab it before you because they saw it here, its a pro for 520... But i dunno bout shipping to CA.. might work tho. Ill keep my eyes open, I have a few friends I race with that carry a new truck around with them for when they break their truck badly and cant fix it (they build it, redo the diffs and shocks, wheels and tires, exc... but they'll drop the stock engine, pipe and tires on it if they sell it... you can get them for pretty reasoanble cause they get them CHEAP... I've bought 3 cars that way...) So ill keep looking and let ya know what i come up with...
