Tnx plastic drivline fix.
Well I found this info on another forum but decided to post it here to as there are a bunch of tnx's on here.
this mod will remove the stock plastic drive lines and replace them with metal universal axles, they weigh less and are alot stronger.
a little modifaction is requird, but nothing a dremel cant handle.
This is what you need.

need 2x

need 4x

need 2x

need 2x
I also put on the hpi rs4 header and mgt pipe.
Take a file and flaten the top of the dogbone, this keeps it from binding in the cup
you can see where i rounded the inner part of the knuckle, it actually gives you more stearing travel
stock hpi rs4 header before porting
Enjoy.

Those links should work.
Thats some nice upgrading you did. Let us know how they hold up. I just broke my plastic driveline yesterday, if it breaks again I will also be trying this.

RE: Tnx plastic drivline fix.
OK, my advice for this mod is DONT. the stupid duracrap parts are weaker than the stock plastic. I have gone threw three of them and all of them fail at the u-joint. right now im working on making it so you can use the tnx ujoint pins instead of the pressed in duratrax pins. Ill get some pics up and show u what im talking about. if the pins didn fail, this things are great.
Hold off for now, Ill figure something out and post back
