Default Dirt Ramp (Pictures included)

Like in the backyard. There has been a dirt pile in my backyard since I bought the place 3 years ago. I think there was a tree there at one time, and there may still be a stump buried under there somewhere.

Anyway, I cleaned it up a little bit and shaped it into a somewhat reasonable ramp. Here are some pictures of the fast paced action from today.

The Savage posing on the steep side

Trying to take pictures with one hand and drive with the other makes for bad jumping

Once the wife started snapping the shots, the jumps got better

This one looks like its going to be out there a ways

Damage tally after many bad landings from 6 feet in the air:
Stripped screw in the front bumper support bracket
Stripped spur gear (its been trough a lot)

I think I made the right choice getting the Savage. It is a tough truck.

Might not look impressive, but I sure did have a lot of fun.

I don't think my truck would get out of first in my backyard. Of course, my backyard is 20 feet, fence to fence.

Thanks - we like it. We have a corn/hay field on 2 sides, and a neighbor thats never home on the other.

It is nice to be able to go out the back door and be able to run the truck. I probably run it a lot more than I would if I had to travel somewhere in order to run it. Thats one of the reasons I switched from planes to trucks.
