I drilled my pipe to mount it with the stinger facing away from the truck instead of down to deflect the exhaust better. I was just wondering if residue will build up in the pipe because the stinger isn't on the bottom anymore? I haven't ran it yet, just wanted some opinions. Thanks!

Turn the rubber part on the stinger so that it does not point upwards - down or to the back is fine. As it is the oil etc will not collect on the pipe itself, but instead on the rubber part, it will simply dribble down. Rotating the extension is all you need to do.

The extension facing up will catch dirt and trap oil, it's best turned down. As for any accumulated oil, just tip the truck so the pipe will drain after you are done for the day.
