Who makes the best engines?

Who makes the best engines?
I was just wondering which companies make the best engines? I was looking at quite a few different brands but didn't know that you guys prefer? I was looking for a powerful motor but one that's dependable and descent priced. I was looking at a few .30 engines with a good 3.5hp, they seemed to be very powerful, dependable and well priced but I just need some more opinions. Right now I have a stock Mach .26 in my LST and it seems to be pretty powerful, I just want more power!

RE: Who makes the best engines?
You know, I LOVE my RB Concepts engine, but.. that's not what the poll is about. I believe that OS makes the best engines available. I think Sirio is a close second... Don't think I am dogging RB Concepts, I LOVE my TM323... it's AWESOME, and I wouldn't trade it for anything... but, OS and Sirio are top dogs in my book.

RE: Who makes the best engines?
Top and Rex engines are made by Novarossi. They are exactly the same engines (the Novarossi CX-12 is the same as the Top CT-12 and the Rex CR-12), they even come in Novarossi packaging, and have Novarossi stamped on the carb. Only the cranckase (stamped with either "N", "Top" or "Rex") and the cooling heads (diferent colours) are different.

I'll put picco up there so everyone can have a fair vote. I want everyone's honest opinion because a lot of the nitro stuff is still new to me so I'm not for sure on a lot of things. I'm looking for the best made and then I'll find out who the best company is that makes bigger engines.

RE: Who makes the best engines?
O.S. Hands down......Its just to bad they do not make anything larger then a .21 But with their V-Spec pushing over 3 HP for a .21 on 3 ports none the less.....that right there tells you what OS is capable of....I think the reason O.S. does not make anything larger then a .21 is because when you make the diameter of the piston larger within a standard size .21 crankcase, something else has to give way and be smaller.....so either the sleeve and/or the crankcase has to be thinner.....to give way for the extra space of the piston.....and with that.....you end up with shorter time in-between rebuilds of the piston and sleeve.....which turns out to be less engine life.....
The way some other companies combat this problem is the quality of the materials they use for the piston ,sleeve and crankcase.....such as RB and Rossi engines....they use top quality materials.....which also jacks the price of the engine through the roof.....
Remember what ever engine you decide to buy....you get what you pay for......
