I'm new to MT's and was wondering if this is a good truck to start with. Please tell me the pros and cons of this truck before I buy it.

i would actually try sticken to more reliable trucks. i mean these trucks are good but not the most reliable. but when they run they hall ass though lol. LMK if this helped.

HotBodies is not as big of a company compared to HPI Traxxas etc, but I like the Lightning GT and i have nothin against it. Try lookin into a Revo or Savage. Maybe even an LST if you have enough money to spend[8D]

id go for the new MGT 4.60 SE those trucks are bad to the bone. my neighbor has one and he beats the he** out of it and it just keeps on runnin. so easy to start parts for them every where and they are just awsome. associated did there true work with that truck. lol.

Hot Bodies is owned by HPI so with that backing it is a good company to buy from. Nothing wrong with getting the Lightning GT to be a little different. Should be a nice truck. I'm actually in the process of looking into getting one of these truck myself. If it is anything like my HoT Bodies Cyclone electric touring car then this will be a great truck. ALot of guys run the Lighting Stadium 1/8th truggies at are track and they are really nice trucks. The GT is more of a monster type truck but that is cool because I want it more for play than racing. I will mess around at the local track but nothing serious.

go ahead and get the GT but im just saying you should probly go with a more popular truck like the revo or MGT or maybe the LST2 i heard they were very great trucks im sure they are.
