RE: XTRM Truggy parts...
you'll need parts from a XTM MAMMOTH to make the changes
-mammoth rear axles
-mammoth front universals
-2 mammoth shock towers
-mammoth steering turnbuckles
-4 mammoth 153mm shocks

RE: XTRM Truggy parts...
you'll also need mammoth a-arms. uppers and lowers. you can just use the stock ones but the aluminum look alot better.
i got these off ebay from [link=http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&userid=bgalagan&item=5976392913&iid=5976392913&frm=1883&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:SID]bgalagan[/link]
got them for 79.99. they were $92 after shipping from canada. and granted i live close to the canadian border but they were shipped and arrived within 7 days. that's fast for coming through customs.
they look sharp and seem pretty strong

RE: XTRM Truggy parts...
i also got an XTM .21 engine coming (NIB, still coming), a 2 point XTM sliding clutch system, OFNA MT3 split deep offset rims, and a set of PROLINE bowties (still coming)
all in all i think i have a little over $250 invested just in parts not including the engine. i got almost everything off E-B-A-Y and most of it from [link=http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&userid=rchobby4less&item=5977043801&iid=5977043801&frm=1883&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:SID]rchobby4less (514) [/link]

RE: XTRM Truggy parts...
You still need to gear it...the X-T stock spur won't do anything but kill your clutch fast....
i have been searching all over the place to see what i could get to fit. the best options i have found are the 2 speed kit for the xterminator, the 2 speed for the XLB/Mammoth (not sure if they are the same or geared a little different), the OFNA Dominator solid drive or slipper set up, or buying the DADDERS diff adaptor (and just doing it right).
i really didn't want to get into the chopping of the chasis but it doesn't look like i'm gonna have a choice. in order to get the larger spur gear from anything to fit i think i'm gonna have to make some modifacations. there's gonna be some grinding in the spur area and in the flywheel area to get my starter to reach it. and i do believe, like Binary had to do in his XTRM conversion, i am gonna have to set the engine over a little.
all in a days work..[8D]

RE: XTRM Truggy parts...
nice n wide but short wheelbase will make it very unstable!!!
do you think that i should get the XLB chasis to throw under it? that would deffinately make it a bit longer
