CVA Shaft Question
I had on of the little pins fall out of my twin titan as the wheel end of the cva shaft. It sheered the pin in half therefore leaving me with half a pin. What Im wondering is if I can get just the little pin or if I need to get the whole shaft. And Where can I get these parts the easiest, my local hobby Im not liking so much right now.
Thank You

RE: CVA Shaft Question
I don't know for sure, but i think you should be able to find the pin itself. Does your truck come with an exploded view showing all the parts? Try to find it on there for a part number.
I notice you're in ontario. If you're anywhere near London, AVF Hobbies on Dundas east is worth the trip. Very knowledgable staff to help you out.

RE: CVA Shaft Question
If you are talking about the small pin that the wheel hex sits on, then you could easily fabricate one, just find a metal rod of the same diameter as the original pin which will fit through the hole in the shaft, and cut it to the same length (use another pin to get correct length).
If you have some allen keys laying around that are worn and useless, find one of the correct size, and just cut the end off and use that - they are hardened and should be fairly tough, and doing this will also revitalise tha allen key, as it has a "new" end.
I used this to make some new pins for my 1/10 nitro car and it worked great.
