Default Integy or Powerline Shocks?

I am wondering if anyone has any experience with either of these on a MGT? I know they are similiar. How are the reseviors. Does either resevior work better than the other? Looking for good all around performance. Not just Racing or just Bashing. I can get them both for about the same price. Any help with tihs would be greatly appreciated.

I know the Integy aren't good at all and I think it's the same with Powerline Shocks
Try the proline powerstrock shock http://www.pro-lineracing.com/proline.html

How about the Associated Factory Team shocks? Is anyone using those?

Also, about the Powerstrokes, will they handle the weight of a stock MGT? They're also directly compatable with the Tmaxx which weighs signifigantly less than the MGT. So are the included springs stiff enough to handle a 14 LB MGT?

I got some of them off of eBay last week for $66 NIB. I didn't realize that I'd also need a seperate hardware kit and stiffer springs (~$40). I figured I'd just use them on my Tmaxx instead, but remembered that I can only run a 4 shock set-up on the Maxx because of my current set-up.

Anyway, I mixed and matched them. I'm using the coil overs with 45 wt on the Maxx, and I'm running the bypass dampers on the MGT with 4 of the stock shock outfitted with 8.5 lb springs. Both set-ups feel really impressive.

You will need the heavy spring set, as well as the MGT mounting hardware kit. It's just over $40 for all.

The MGT is too heavy for the stock powerstroke springs, you'd have to crank the preloads almost all the way down, which will completely eliminate the use of the dual rate spring set-up.

[link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXHWH8&P=7]HERE[/link] is the link for the hardware kit you'll need.

And [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXJGR2&P=7]HERE[/link] is the link for the heavy springs. The spring kit includes matched primary and secondary springs for a heavy truck (like the MGT).

You could also mix and match your springs by buying these two kits. [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXHKC2&P=M]THESE[/link] and [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXHKC1&P=M]THESE.[/link]

I will run the heavier springs with the mounting hardware for them for the MGT. Is there people with this shocks run the heavy spring set up how do you like it? Do you think the springs and shocks make it a smooth ride for it?
