Feature differences between the ofna fail safe and venom fail safe?
Hi!
What's the feature differences between the ofna fail safe and venom smart temp (also reads the motor temp and motor temp alarm which is extremely useful)?
What I want is the failsafe functionnality differences.
Also, which do you recommend for the lst?

RE: Feature differences between the ofna fail safe and venom fail safe?
The Venom measures the voltage output of your receiver battery and your engine temp. It also saves the max temp of your engine while you have it turned on. It has all sorts of adjustments for when the failsafe is triggered. However, I have noticed that my radio range has been limited by it. I can go until forever without it. With the thing hooked up, it triggers the failsafe only about 100-150 feet away sometimes. That bites. I've read a lot of other threads about this. I think the radio strength measurement is too touchy. I use a Futaba 3PM and shouldn't have any problems.
