My Trx 2.5 has been giving me all kinds of tuning headaches. So I cleaned and rebuilt the carb, and it ran fine first outting. I had tuning issues tonight and i thought I lost my compression so I tore her down.

With the sleeve out and the piston out of the motor, I pushed the piston up into the sleeve, trying to push it out the top of the sleeve, as it got very close to tdc it got real tight, which to me any ways is supposed to be a real good sign that she still has plenty of life left.

I need EPERIENCED traxxas people who have had these motors down before and know what to look for.

Again when i turned it over by hand with the flywheel and engine together it turned over real easy, so im a little confused!!

You know generally speaking I can tune and run most motors with no problems, but the TRX 2.5 gives me fits, I just seemed jinxed with these motors.

One other thing also, I live in PA and can't get a stock glow plug to save my life, what would work well to keep the engine cool. Outside temps 70's 80's.

One other thing could i possibally bolt in the os tz .18 3 port, if the trx is bad. Its the cheap os .18 not built as a direct bolt in.
