Duratrax Warheadvs 1/8 Scale Monster GT 4.60 SE Nitro 4WD RTR
I am Brand new to the forums and to rc trucks. I am stuck between the two, I like them both which will be the best for me. I'm going to use it for pretty much everything racing around bashing and everything else. I know that Warhead is not out yet but from what you have heard or you have learned from owning a duratrax, which would be better for me. Thanks Mike

this thread will just have people bashing you
The warhead is not out yet so NO-ONE can give you ANY advice on it other than saying 'it looks cool' and other things like that

Sorry to burst your bubble but many trucks come with plastic gears, metal gears or spur gears are often a upgrade.
Here is a good suggestion The tamiya TNX for 309.00 shipped from ultimate hobbies. It will do racing and bashing very well. If you want The MGT its not as race oriented but a great Truck 369.00 shipped from ultimat hobbies Revo 439.00 form the same place shipped its more race oriented but a good truck.
good luck

The MGT is the Monster gt 4.60 right? If so how was the speed and how was the suspension? If this truck is really this good i might just order it, atleast tower has it for sale right now and it's not waiting to be realeased. Which is only going to take who knows how long. Any other suggestions?

Doctorducttape, the only reason you placed second, was because of your driving. I'm sure that if you had a truggy, you would be placing 1st. Basically, if you're a good driver, any car is race worthy. That includes the crummiest cars. So let's not start saying what's race and non race-worthy

Easier to work on? Is'nt that one of the selling points of the warhead is that it is "easy to work on"???? Diffs come out with 4 or 6 screws and such??????
