Check Out this New fully moded Savage I was given...
They say it have every single HPI Hop-up on it, roto-start, reverse, 3 speed tranny ect..
can anyone tell me what motor it is? I'm a plane guy, and haven't had a nitro car in a while...

its the hpi .28 motor.. hmmm everything single hpi hop up? thats not true.. you dont have the LCG tvp grafite plates.. but how did you get it? and what else is on there

I guess, I just mean that it's really frustrating if it doesn't work, and/or breaks easily. I hate getting something for free, and it is broken, and i have to spend money to fix it, even if it was expensive.

haha, he didn't just give it to me for the hell of it, I hooked him up on a car... and he works for HPI..
How much would something like that cost to build?

i would guess that would be well over $1000 with all of that aluminum, hell even the turnbuckles and rod-ends look to be seriously upgradded. That is a beautiful truck. almost too beautiful to abuse, which is what a savage is primarily intended for.

Ya, it's never been ran yet, he just finished building it the day before he gave it to me....
I'll get more pics tomorrow, I'm going to break it in tomorrow, can't wait
and suggestions on breaking it in?
Am I supposed to oil up the filter?

I hooked him up on the price of a real car
I'm a Internet/Fleet Manager at a Ford dealership.... gave him a really good price on something when he told me he worked for HPI [sm=tongue.gif]
