I ordered this bad boy 2 days ago, Tower told me won't be till the end of December, the Truck arrived today!! The bad boy cost me 352.00 total. Im talking about my Warhead. I canceled and reordered this truck so many times, then I saw one hell of a deal, and just had to go for it!!! Once the weather warms up, probabally March 06, I'll start breaking her in. I just thought now was the time to get a great deal!!

Congrats on your new Warhead. Welcome to the club. You may want to order a spare set of front bulkhead chassis from Tower if you're running it in the cold. A few people including myself have broken them when breaking in the engines in the cold. Otherwise, it's a great truck. Can't wait to finish the break in and get mine screaming.

I ordered my Revo on 12/21/05, by the shipping cutoff time, and I paid for 2-3 day priority mail to hopefully get it in time for christmas. I even called Tower to make sure it would go out on the 21st and I was told it would since I paid for faster delivery. Well it did not go out until 12/22/05 so its still not here. What a waste of shipping charges, $35, I am going to complain more because why would I pay for faster delivery to get here in time if they are going to delay shipping it out?

I got my Warhead yesterday (Dec 23, 2005)!!!

I ordered it a couple of months ago when Tower had a $50 off for $399.90 purchase. Plus they threw in $30 worth of accessories (fuel bottle, batteries, glow starter, etc.) for free, as part of a $0 additional cost combo deal. I ordered it with with the usually free shipping, but Tower sent it out Dec. 22 on Next Day Air! They must have felt bad about making me wait so long and wanted me to have it under the Xmas tree before Dec 24th.

BTW, I didn't even bother parking the Warhead under the Xmas tree for a couple of days. It went directly to my workbench.

My warhead has the purple body. I have not sat it down by my LST or Savage, but from looks alone it looks wider, from outer wheel to wheel. Looking at from a distance the the truck looks like a long legged spider, its stance reminds me of a Revo.

I joined the tower supersaver club, and if they got it on stock, it gets shipped right now, like 2 day air. The club is worth the extra cash. It beats paying the higher shipping cost.
