HEy,
Ive narrowed my selection down to the hpi savage or the new T-Maxx. which should i get and why>? t-maxx because of speed, and bieng able to pop wheelies?" or savage becuase of its size and power? thanks! later

CAN'T GO WRONG W EITHER BUT WE THINK SAVAGE IS A LITTLE TUFFER FOR THE $ WE HAVE BOTH. IT COMES DOWN TO WHAT YOUR ASKING ABOUT, SPEED,OR SIZE AND POWER SO JUST BUY BOTH AND HAVE FUN. TO CLOSE TO CALL. GOOD LUCK

i decided to stop saying "Savage" when people are try to decide
which truck to buy between savage and t-maxx because i dont
own a t-maxx.
oooshutdown, my suggestion is , you go to a LHS, and look at
both trucks, even some other truck. ask for spec...
ask the guys at LHS. maybe ask for a test drive. check if the LHS
has the parts that you might break on your truck. anyway, two
hobby shops near me carry HPI mainly
just do this, SEE BOTH truck before you buy any of them
which truck to buy between savage and t-maxx because i dont
own a t-maxx.

I was wondering if you were going to add SAVAGE....to your post just to tease me.
I agree with LandShark....even though I did say TMAXX. Follow his good advice and you'll see for yourself....what works best for you.

I believe they are suited to somewhat different uses.
The Savage is a true MT.. heavy, torquey.. and the TMAXX seems to be more happy/preppy..
Check em out they are hard to choose between but no matter what you will come out with a winner!!

if i have, please forgive me.
i just found out that most of us didnt actually compare
those two trucks.
we say "t-maxx" or "savage" just because we have either
one of them.
i was going to buy a t-maxx before. but i changed my mind,
I saw Ryan's T-maxx, i just dont like it
one thing i have to say is t-maxx is faster than savage out of box.
people going to buy a savage should sell the stock engine for
120 dollars, then buy hyper 21 8 part for 120-130 dollars.
investing a little time will make your savage beat t-maxx at speed.
compare to t-maxx's EZ starter, i dont think savage's pull-starter
is a disadvantage.
if i have, please forgive me.

We all buy what we do for various reasons. I think the bottom line is to respect what others decide to buy and most of all....help each other enjoy this hobby by keeping it fun and lively.

you got me crying cmo..that was touching ...ive been hurt by a lot of posts beacuse all they talk about are their tmaxx and savage ...they forgot about us small owners of terra crusher ,ofna dominator,ek4,madforce ,megaforce and etc..maybe next time we include them in the versus threads ..thanks for support may the force be with you!

I was actually taking a good look at the Pirate.. I wanted the Biggest Baddest truck.. but then I saw what buggies can do and I saw the light! (angelic voices). Oh great.. bein around you guys has me stoned like I'm on acid! lol
Some of you guys .. your missin a couple 4X23 screws and e-clips in your head lol (make sure theyre metric)
