Just Ordered a Warhead: What Will I Need?
Just clicked on the order. 137.66 for 3 months, I love towers easy pay!
So what will I need? Can anyone gimme some links to tower or someplace where I can get this stuff?
- Glow Starter (can anyone recomend one? Should I go with a disposable or rechargeable batt? I have a MRC 979 and a Intellipeak charger...)
- Reciver Pack (I am gonna start with AAs but I want to move to a pack, whats a good one?
- Fuel Bottle (What size and whats cheap?)
- Fail Safe (Which one?)
- Temp Gun (Whats cheap, should I get a failsafe/temp combo?)
What type of fuel should I get, what oils are needed...
This is my 1st experiance with nitro, I have been using a SS5800 pede but I want a real truck now! Is there a good 'how to' that comes with the warhead, I dont want to ruin the engine the 1st day.
Is this thing louder than a lawnmower? Are there any mufflers that I can use when running the truck in the neighborhood?

Check out the "Anyone got a warhead" thread...
Get a good rechargable glow starter (preferably one with a guage) and either a spare battery for it or a standard glow starter and regular batteries as backup. (I have all of the above)
Any fuel bottle will do.
I like the ofna micro fail safe, it can be fitted in the reciever box. (put one in my warhead. see the thread for pics)
I have a duratrax temp gun, it works pretty good.
Any 20% will do, I use rocketscience: http://www.rocketsciencefuels.com/
