Default Big Bear steering

Hi, I have just put together a "new" big bear that I bought off of ebay. I had my first one back in the mid 80's and got this one for nostalgic reasons Well here's my problem, the steering on this truck is not what I remember. It's like the servo does not have enough throw to move the wheels far enough. I am using the stock steering setup with the supplied servo saver.
Does anyone have any ideas to get the throw longer?

Thanks,
Chuck

Just a suggestion here: did you try a longer servo arms if it fits, is the servo strong enough.?
That the only thing i can think of for now.

Is that thing got some decent speed and torque, you did a really nice restoration.

I did try a couple of different ones. I may have to get one of my really long ones that I use on airplanes.

The Big Bear is brand new basically. I bought it on ebay from a guy in Austrailia. He had assembled the diff but that was it I completed it.

I still had my original big bear body so I use it. Still have the "new" one unpainted.

I'll post some pics later.

Chuck
