axial .28 power
a few days a I bought an axial .28 for my savage ss
its better then the stock k4.6
the local rc expert said it the most power one for a savage. it fast but not what i expected
if money were no object whats the best engine engine all around (torque rpm ease to tune durability)
or is he right about the axial

So how many gallons you guys get out of a axial .28? My sportwerks 26 is on it's way out and I was thinking of this engine.....Seems very powerful for the money. Longevity concerns have kept me from buying it......

If you want an engine better then the axial, easier to tune as there are only 2 needle settings, and has more power and good price, then get the LRP .28, I tried the axial, its nice, but LRP is better all around.

RE: axial .28 power
I just put a Axial .28 1s in after my Top 528X Speed pull start broke and could not find a replacement pull start.
The Novarossi was sweet, lots of power and ran cool. The Axial is also a sweet motor, it's a little less powerful, but you hardly notice it bashing. If it was on the track, the Top would smoke it.

RE: axial .28 power
I bought an Axial after the stock .21 in my MGT died. I could do wheelies, but I had to have good traction. It didnt have very good top end, and not alot of torque, but the mid range is where it shined. Then I bought a Team Orion Wasp .28, and that thing is a freakin beast!!! It can flip itselft over with ease, and with a steady throttle finger, I can easily make it hold out a wheely. It has the most torque of just about any .28 I have seen, as well as a super top and mid range. Its a bit harder to tune because it has 3 needles to mess with, but it holds the tune well, so far I have had 5 gallons through it and it hasnt had a hic up and is still going as strong as when it was new, and it doesnt cost much. I would really reccomend it.

RE: axial .28 power
Hey guys, I want to replace the stock engine on my Warhead, i just upgraded the complete truck to aluminium parts.. no plastic at all. What engine should i get? The best options... according to my knowledge are:
1. Axil .28RR (new version of the .28)
2. Axil .32
3. LRP Z.28R (truggy version with no pull start)
I will highly appreciate any help.
