Too bad all the previous posts are gone. There was some good info in there.
I see you asked about the Tsais pipe for the TNX over there. It kills the top end by a lot, but bottem end is good. It has a good sound to it and keeps the oil off the truck though. It's not worth buying IMO.

hey bro, nice to see you post the reply here. Btw, i got quite confuse now. There's one say the bottom end so-so, improvement are from mid-top end. Where by your case, is the opposite. I really love to have a pipe which doesn't throw out the waste oil onto the truck. Do the nitro-devil really so bad on the performance?

RE: www.tamiyatrucks.com is back!!
I bought my TNX from ThermalRD. He put the pipe on but never drove it with the pipe on. When I got the TNX my first thoughts were "this truck is slow, I thought this thing was suppose to be fast". I tried tuning it, but couldn't get any better performance out of it. I put the stock pipe back on for comparison. My thoughts then went to "man this thing flies". That Tsais pipe hasn't seen the light of day since. I think what kills the performance is that the header enters the pipe on the side. That doesn't allow for a smooth flow of the exhaust. I've seen people turn the stock pipe around so it is facing the rear. That may be worth a try if you don't like the oil on your truck. To me, getting some oil on the truck is part of running a nitro. That's my experience with the Tsais pipe. If others have got good performance out of it, that's cool. It just didn't work out for me.
