What would be the coolest production monster truck ever?
What Would make the best production monster truck ever. What characteristics?
Gas? Electric? Interchangeable?
Race Oriented? Bash Oriented? Both?
Looks like a real Monster Truck?
What do you guys all want to see in your "ultimate monster truck"?
Thanks for the input!

The LST3.
Tougher than a Savage, faster than a Revo, and bigger than a Genesis.
Somehow, the engine would no longer need tuning.
And suddenly there would be a lot more bodies available than there currently are for the LST2..

The ultimate MT? Hmm... Well lets start that by looking at the best parts, of some of the most popular trucks.
Savage: Durability.
Revo: Suspension, light weight.
LST2: Stability, excellent steering.
I'd say to keep the size about the same as well. If you go any larger than an LST2, you'll be in a different scale. That would tick off the race fans. So now that yer making the ultimate MT, lets incorporate some ideas. LOL...
Big block motor. 1/10th-1/8th scale. Laydown suspension like the Revo. So now that i think about it. We just really need a 1/8th scale Revo. That comes stock with a big block motor. Ya, that would be perfect.

Actually, a gas engine in a big-size MT would be great - or?? No tuning headaches, cheap gas, no glow-plugs, all that...

How about a variable trans to keep the engine in its power band under all speed conditions, like a snowmobile.
A center diff that completely locks together at higher speeds (adjustable) to keep the tires from ballooning in the front, yet still have great turning at lower speeds. Maybe use a centrifical finger type clutch set up to accomplish this. No more messing with diff oils to find a good compromise.
Better support for the body so they don't crack so easy, especially in the rear.
Shocks with externally adjustable dampening and progressive rates, like a motocross.
Sell as a kit instead of RTR or both like HPI does with the Savage
An awesome steering servo if it is RTR
And let me do some testing with it if you use any of my ideas.

LST3, with a center differential, bellcrank style steering like a 1/8 scale buggy, 23mm hex, one piece narrow chassis, center mounted engine, a clear .080" thick clear body, prebuilt without radio or engine all for $300 dollars.
