Santa decided to make an early trip out and drop off an Associated Monster GT for me. He also did a little shopping on eBay and picked up a few spare parts for it.

I'm hoping that he's also going to bring a T-Rex 450XL heli kit, and maybe a copy of Realflight G3. He hasn't committed to either of those yet.

o yeah i also want to get the rd racing bump box.
but that means i have to get a 12v gel cell battery and a charger for it.
anyone know how much that will cost.(just the battery and charger for it)
i just want the a cheap set-up i dont need a $150 charger.
overnight charger would be fine for me.

Yep, that was me. Stupid Hobbytron. I finally got my money back, but I had to go through my credit card issuer to do it. [:@]

I ended up getting my MGT locally from Sheldon's Hobbies. They're having a 20% off moving sale, so I got it at a pretty good price. It all worked out in the end.

lol i laughed for days after i heard that answer.

I ended up waiting for just under 2 weeks. Once I found out how long MGTs had been "backordered" there, I decided they were trying to rip people off and cancelled my order.

My refund took another 3 weeks after all of that. So, they had my money for well over a month... Not cool. Fortunately, since I contested the charge, I didn't have to pay finance charges on the balance.

use a pair of 7.2V 6-cell battery packs, just some Ni-CD packs you would usually use for a starter. thats what i use, it even comes with the tamiya plugs for it. the only problem is keeping 2 batts charged but it isnt bad, and they last enough for a few days of no worries.

i think the MRC 977 does Gel Cell's, 2 at a time actually. it also does led acids, li-po's, li-ion's, ni-mh, and ni-cd's. thats 100 bucks instead of 150........with a P/S

Santa ordered me a Baja 5B and a Micro-T, he is also eyeing a Monster Pirate servo saver set-up (for bearings and a spring for my Cam set-up in my Savvy) but he is unsure if he wants to push another 18 bucks.

-Hitec 5625MG for my new throttle servo
-new pipe (Vantage or Jammin, not really sure yet)
-aluminum servo saver
-Team Orion Rechargeable receiver pack
That's all I can think of at the moment, I'm looking forward to seeing if I get anything unexpectedly for Christmas though. Only about 3 weeks away I believe. Hope Santa's good to you all!

A Sony DSC-H2 megazoom digital camera. Oh wait, thats not RC related. I guess I could take pictures of the RCs or something with it though. Maybe a Tribute 3D foamie and a Park 370 motor, since I have a Phoenix 25 ESC, Thunder Power 1320mAh 3 cell lithium polymer battery, 4 HS-55 servos, and an Electron 6 reciever that need a home.

I asked Santa for an SSM Technik Sikorsky S-76 turbine heli kit with scale retracts, but he may not have the resources for that one. My second choice is a bottle of shock oil, and I'm pretty sure he'll have that one on the 25th
