Default TNX or MGT

I have a mgt but looking to get a new truck for my brother, i would get him a MGT as well but would like to get him something different. I know the MGT is pound for pound one of the best MT out there, but still would like to get him something a little different.

I'd say, go with the MGT. It's a solid truck, easy to tune and maintain, and you can share parts if you do bust something while you're out bashing. An Aftershock or Muggy might not be a bad idea, either.

Aside from the parts availabilyti, i would go for the TNX. It's probably the lighest monster truck out there, comes with great engine, great suspension design and it's very easy to work on since everything is laid on a flat chassis.

Both are good trucks. I had a hard time deciding between the 2 and ended up with both. LOL

I've put my GT thru heck and back and its still running strong. VEry durbale and easy to tune. only thing it loses to the TNX out right is speed. That TNX is one fast truck

well i have 2 tnx and i have nothing but good things to say, great motor, great handling, good brakes, can hold up to some bashing, extremely fast

although i would replace the original shocks with some aluminiums cos they leak out oil besides that great truck!!

If you're trying to decide what's best for your brother, get the one you think is best regardless of what you have. If you wanted to experiment with something different, I'd say get the TNX for yourself later on. Unless your brother is okay with the TNX.
