Well, I had a hell of a time deciding. Did mad research on this subject, and what I found was that the SMT racing seen in my area seems to be dwindling. Soooo, I went the truggy route, and scooped up a ThunderTiger ST-1 RTR.

The whole reason that the regular MT class is dying is because everyone is going "the truggy route". Sure, a long wheelbase buggy with big tires is going to outperform a real MT, but it's nowhere near as much fun. Saving that class at your local track might have required nothing more than you buying one, and then actually showing up with it and being somewhat competitive.

I can see the draw of truggies, but at the end of the day its half buggy half truck. If you want REALLY competitive racing just buy a buggy!
Anyway have fun racing, and I think overall its a good buy.
