Question about Failsafes
I was thinking that a failsafe would be a good investment to safe the maxx from radio interference and low batteries. My question is does hte failsafe protect if the cars batties go dead , it seems like it would not becuase there is no power to pull the throttle down. I dont know if the failsafe has its own battery or what
any ideas?
Thanks

Question about Failsafes
No, if the batteries go dead the failsafe doesnt protect it. A throttle return spring would do that if the batteries go dead. This will pull your throttle back to idle since the servo won't have any resistance on it. You can use both so that it fully protects your T-Maxx. The failsafe is supposed to shut your T-maxx down if it detects a weak voltage from the batteries in the reciever. And it is a worth while investment. Since I bought mine from you, after the first incident without the failsafe, it has saved it once. So it has already paid for itself.

Question about Failsafes
IF nothing put a throttle spring on it. cheap insurance!
It saved my rig once
Battery thing broke and the thing came braking to a halt thanks to the spring.
Personally I wouldnt run any rc car without a spring. Anything else would be optional
