Default Shaft start questions...

Anyone know how much voltage/torque im gonna want on my cordless drill to be able to turn the engine over on the Monster GT 4.6?

I wanted to use the shaft start over the pull start for the break in period and just bought a cordless drill but am worried about the power on it. Any input would be killer.

Awesome, it happens to be 7.2. So i guess i'll let it show for itself tomorrow morning. Hopefull all goes well. And i'm gonna want to hold it down and let it turn till the engine cranks? or what? I'm not new to nitro, but definatley new to the shaft start scene.

I use a 9.6 which is more than enough, I set the slipper on a low setting.

i just chucked my roto shaft into my 12v milwaukee drill. it turns just fine, but not nearly as fast as the roto start unit does. oh, i tried it on a .32 which is a 5.3.

My dad has an old Craftsman cordless drill in the garage, I think it's 9 or 9.6 volt. Two rechargeable batteries, one seemed to have gone bad, the other is better. With the better one I can get the MGT engine started. I'm not sure what speed is best but when I use the drill it makes the engine chug about 5 to 6 times per second. I seem to do well with that.
