Default brake cleaner vs nitro cleaner

Couldnt one just use general brake cleaner to clean a nitro vehicle instead of using 5.99 cans of nitro cleaner? They seem pretty much the same...

Use the non-chlorinated kind and it will be fine. I cannot tell any difference between the two.

You can also use gallon sized cans of $5 denatured alcohol and compressed air.
