Recommended 4x4 for High ground clearance and Crawling?
Hey all, Ive been into Nitro Planes for a while now and im looking for somthing to poke around with when i dont have time to drive 40 min to my flying field and figured maybe a RC 4x4 would be cool.
Ive done some reading and read some reviews, but I was wondering what 4x4 people might recommend for just Crawling through Trails and some woods. Probably not going to get into jumping or going crazy with it.
Speed is a plus for playing around the yard and street.. but im mostly looking for that monster truck /Crawler type.
Any thoughts?

I would like it to be Nitro and have 4x4. Money isn't really an issue being i spend 1000's on planes lol

You have 2 choices
Speed and handling = 1/8th Buggies
Size, Ground clearance = Monster trucks
(and you actually have truggies in the middle)
I have a buggy and a truck, and love both. The Monster truck (AE monster GT) is impressive though. Big Imposing, 2 speed with reverse. I wholeheartedly recommend one of these but if you have the money you say then also look at the Losi LST2. There are bigger trucks (CEN) but I don't think you will get much better then the LST2. The MGT is just as good if you spend a few $$$ upgrading, but not as good out of the box.
Hope this helps

A gmade spider, or dragoon....They are both solid axles
Here is a link www.gmade.net They are pricey, but you can find them cheaper at www.junfac.com or ebay
