Anyone still own a Kyosho Mega Force
Does anyone still own one of these bad boys or am I the only one, it is still a great truck just to bash with and not worry about it, it is still a pretty tough truck.[8D]

RE: Anyone still own a Kyosho Mega Force
I always thought those were kind of cool, but just like anything Kyosho they are obscure and hard to find parts for. Not that I regret buying the Kyosho Giga Crusher I just got, but I cannot find a pull starter in stock ANYWHERE and if I do find one, it's almost $50!!!
Until Kyosho gets better support for their whole line (not just their buggies) with better parts availability, I am not going to buy any more of their products. Their products will go from released to discontinued within 2 years, if that and they are almost impossible to get parts for after that time. Drives me nuts, because I really like their stuff otherwise, sans the phillips hardware.

Python, What parts stores did you find? I know that Toyhaus sells parts for it.
Dale, as far as the phillips screws just get on ebay and Team Fast Eddy sells hex conversion kits for all models, he just needs a few days to build the kit. I do agree with you though that Kyosho has great monster trucks but they discontinue them way to early.

RE: Anyone still own a Kyosho Mega Force
That's not it, lol, that is an old news to me, there getting to release a totally new truck, its not on there site, well it was for a day, but the next it was gone! I use to be sponsored but them, wen they found out i was racing there monster truck i got sponsored, not a huge million dollar sponsor gig but enough to get by, i got free parts for my truck, i had the hat, the shirt, i had the paper saying it all, but i was dropped a year or so back after i got sick cause i was asking for parts and not racing, so there went that one, but i do get emails from my friends that are still sponsored by them, and i get emails from them still, i has a chance to race the new inferno truggie for them early this year but i did not have the $$$ at the time, they said if i had the $$$ to pay for 1/2 the truggie they would sponsor me but no money no sponsor! But ya late this year or early next year it will be released, i have one pic form them, but they do watch the forums lol to make sure the info does not leak out.
But let me tell you, you will never see this truck coming! kyosho has been watching all the new Mt's and has made a beast!

OOOO so this is like that story how u was mates with adam drake, and how u were sponsored by proline, and your tmaxx got stolen with the "concept wheels" on it, yet your truck was a stock thing, with 1 stock tmaxx wheel, stock shocks, no powerstrokes, bodies, wheels. Show some proof to your statements mate

Hey man, don't flame, I started this thread to see if there were any Mega force owners left out there, not to watch a pissing match over another truck. Let's stick to the subject.[8D] The man says that he was sponsored by Kyosho then so be it, I beleive him until proven otherwise, besides, I have seen his Mad Force on other threads and it is a pretty sweet looking ride

I just purchased one form derftl56 here . I haven't even started it up yet, but looks pretty cool. All looks stock except the inside shocks have been changed to a larger set. It's good to see someone else has one too

RE: Anyone still own a Kyosho Mega Force
Hey Vinny, nice too see someone else has one, I have Team associated T-maxx big bore blue anodized shocks all around with an O.S. 18 CV-RX, a cold air intake (well, they call it a cold air intake but it's really just an extended polished intake tube), a K&N filter, a Proline Silverado body, and I have some Proline Moab 40 series tires with Thunderquake wheels but I don't run them very often as the gearing really isn't tall enough for them. I had dual exhaust on it but I took it off as it was way too loud, it is a great bashin' truck, it was my first nitro several years ago and I still love it.

Yeah, what happened to that? I still haven't seen it and I am stationed in Japan. Kyosho's are always released here first since they are made here but still no sign of it[&o]

RE: Anyone still own a Kyosho Mega Force
i have been running a mad force for a few years. i put on a set of rims and tires from a t-maxx.this was the best upgrade i have done on any of my trucks.the stock tires with out foam inserts were just to big and soft.when it shifts into third gear the truck is at an insane speed

RE: Anyone still own a Kyosho Mega Force
Just upgraded all of my servos and put my 3 channel back on so I can have reverse. I know that this truck is outdated but I love this thing, it has never let me down, it just keeps on going. I have over $1400 in my truggy, almost a grand in my buggy but the Mega Force is still my favorite, it is tough as nails[8D]

RE: Anyone still own a Kyosho Mega Force
Well, it's time to place my Mega Force on the selling block, I love this truck but I have too much time and money invested in my buggy and truggy and I have a new buggy on the way so it is time to clear out some space. It will be appearing on ebay in the next few days. It has been a blast having this truck but it is time to let it go.[&o]

RE: Anyone still own a Kyosho Mega Force
ok ok its was just the 8 shock mad force, but the new one in the dark was the new, well old now truggy. and i was sponsored by kyosho, in a way, when they were still with tower my moms bro worked for great plains, and when ever i needed parts he would get me anything i needed for nothing, so it was like a sponsorship cause i was getting free parts i had the hat the shirt the "forms" maybe it was not official but to me it was.
