Default A fan flywheel for savage?

I've been thinking about getting this Ofna 3 shoe clutch flywheel for my savage. I already have a 3 shoe with same dia as this so I know it'll fit.

Question is, does anybody think it'll really help keep the motor cool on hot summer day?

I actually thought about this and there are a few more "subtle" fan flywheels but this is crazy! it looks just like a fan! lol

At these speeds I can see this fan actually reducing your engines throttle response and creating load!!
I would like to see it in action before I buy it!

Default TTT

Come on guys, I know I posted this link wrong, but please copy and paste and check this out...

I'm just humbly asking if all you "expert" RCers out there think this would actually work. You know, help cool to allow you to run leaner for more pwr.

And as Ram stated above, would the benefits outweigh the new drag of pushing air.

BTW, I wanting to put this on Hyper .21 8 port, which already has more revs than socker...

Hey Ram, thanks for responding.

BTW, for those not familiar with heli set-ups, they run a fan to cool the engine. Granted, they don't have the high revs, but they run fans...

Just wondering.

I'd have to agree with buggy, I would go with a vented clutch bell or at least one of the more subtle vented flywheels. This certianly looks like it would create a drag at high RPMs.

I have the vented Robinson racing flywheel on my Nova Mugen Mt-12 NMT and it doesn't slow down the engine rpm, that's for sure

It's of better quality than the RPM.

I buyed it for look, pretty cool if you ask me... But also for the fact that is one of the lightest flywheel you could find.

Anyway, some said that it could blow dirt in your engine main bearing, which is not a good thing off-road, but I didn't really happened on mine.

Only my 0.02 euro

LOL, sorry, it was real early in the am for me, like around 6a.

I figure this must be hot item, Tower has had it on the "on order" then middle february, the end february, the early march.... Heck they'll probably never actually receive this item.

Thanks for responding all...
